<p><b>Who are we?</b> </p> <p>Northern Ireland Water are the sole providers of best quality drinking water and treat and dispose of wastewater (sewage) within NI.  It places great importance on educating young people in the vital role water plays in our daily lives.<p> <p><b>What topics do we support?</b> </p> <p><i>Global Perspective, Healthy Living, Waste, Water and Marine</i></p> <p>Our Education programmes, currently free of charge, are two-fold: (1) Conservation - raises awareness of saving water and its effects on sustainability; and (2) Water for Health - how important water is to living a healthy life.</p> <p><b>How can we help?</b> </p> <p><b><u>Classroom visits</u></b> </p> <p><b>Nursery:</b> 20 minute interactive session covering the topics of how we use water, hydration and saving water.</p> <p><b>KS1:</b> 30 minute interactive session covering the topics of the watercycle, how we clean water, hydration and saving water. </p> <p><b>KS2:</b> 45 minute interactive session chose from; the watercycle & cleaning water OR water conservation. </p> <p><b>Eco-Committee:</b> Become a refill school with a 20 minute chat on the ‘Refillution’ and plastic pollution with your eco-committee.
