The Supporting our Wild Neighbours project seeks to educate and inspire our communities about the importance of biodiversity by supporting our wild neighbours (insects and wildlife). This programme will provide both the resources and training to support this. This project is funded through the Department for Communities ‘Housing for All’ Shared Housing Programme which has its origins in the NI Executive Together Building United Communities Strategy.
The Project will pair up 6 Independent Living Schemes with 6 primary schools in 6 Radius T:buc / Housing for All areas.
The project will build intergenerational relationships and knowledge whilst boosting biodiversity and the environment.
